Our hotel is small, cozy and has a unique history as a former private home. The hotel has 19 comfortable, well equipped rooms. Every room is individually decorated and few rooms also have a kitchenette. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet every morning and a typical, relaxing finnish sauna in the evenings plus a refressing swim in our indoor pool.

The original hotel building dates back to year 1974 when it was built, on the best plot in town, as a private home for a local indutrial magnate Mr. Fjalar Nordell, a founder of company Salora (radio and tv factory). Years later Salora and Nokia manufactured together the first mobile phones in 1981 and over the time, Nokia became the world's leading mobile phone manufacturer. The long-time position of Salo as a blooming mobile hub owned a lot to Mr. Fjalar Nordell's life's work.
