The cottage of Orchard Barn

The lodge is located on a narrow peninsula in a sheltered position, but not far from the south and north coasts. The promontory of Pointe du Raz is at the end of the Cape, and you can go around the Cape on the GR34.
There are small coves on the north coast facing the Crozon Peninsula, and long sandy beaches on the south coast. Numerous bike paths are also available throughout the Cap.
The cottage is an old stone barn with a slate roof, which was once part of a set of old farm buildings. It is located in small old orchards. The renovation used local and organic materials and techniques, including lime mortar and plaster, lime insulation of walls and floors, lime paint, wood fibre insulation in the roof, windows and wood-frame doors opening south.
There is a sunny terrace where you can eat and sit outside, with the kitchen-dining room on the ground floor with a large living room and a laundry room.
Two bedrooms and one bathroom are upstairs, one double bedroom, the other has three single beds, which can comfortably accommodate five people.
If you wish, we can provide you with locally prepared pizzas if you arrive late. Bicycles can be rented in advance from Audierne.
Local markets are excellent for food choice and quality, including many local farmers and organic producers.
