Ristafallets Camping

Ristafallet Camping and Cottages is located next to the Indalsälven river adjacent to Ristafallet. You have a feeling of being very close to nature when you camp out by Ristafallet. As you walk from the campsite area down to the fall and follow the rapids, you will be amazed by the fantastic landscape that only Jämtland can offer. Ristafallet is 50 metres wide and has a 14-metre drop. The fall is known from the film Ronja the Robber’s Daughter, which was filmed here.
In winter, when the fall freezes, you can book a guided tour to visit several ice caves and a 20-metre long limestone cave.
Enjoy a coffee and snack in the café with magnificent views of the Indalsälven river’s long valley.
The campsite offers 30 pitches, the majority with electricity. There is a WC, baby changing table, shower and kitchen with dining area on the campsite. There is also a kiosk and café by the reception.
The campsite also offers 8 cottages. The cottages are suited for 4 people and come equipped with bunk beds, hot plate, fridge and a table and chairs. Space for a cot and/or high chair.
