Klövsjöfjäll

Klövsjöfjäll was founded in 1975 by Lars Backskog and has been in the family since then. In 1977-78 Katrina Wärdshus was built with a restaurant and four 4-bed apartments. In 1983 we built an apartment hotel with 20 4-bed apartments. 1986-87 the restaurant and restaurant kitchen got larger premises.
Then it was not until 1995 that we "docked" the hotel part with the restaurant part through a new accommodation part with 13 double rooms, a new relaxation area and a conference room.
Between the years 2005-2010, the entire hotel has received a total "face-lift" with restaurant, bar and, in the last year, all accommodation, which now consists of apartment accommodation ranging in size from 25 sqm to 110 sqm. A completely new relaxation area has also been built.

Bigger and stronger Klövsjöfjäll
A new five-storey building with 38 double rooms, gym, restaurant and outlet store. In addition, a conference and relaxation area with panoramic views of the mountains and lake. All with Sweden's most beautiful village as a backdrop.

Better range and higher service
Two family-owned companies, Klövsjöfjäll AB and Fastighetsaktiebolaget Lilium, are behind the major investment. Together we are investing SEK 90 million. The new hotel section almost doubles the number of beds and the investment opens up completely new opportunities for conferences in Klövsjö. The construction is completed and has been ready since July 2020.
