Glada Laxen

A restaurant and an inn, housed in the former sea rescue station in Kumlinge in the middle of the unique Åland Archipelago at the small island Bärö. Restaurant and guest rooms are open April-October.

Glada Laxen restaurant is situated only a few meters from seashore and offers you the most delicious local food, the ingredients are delivered by local fishermen and farmers. You can enjoy the fresh sea view from the restaurant terrace.

The island Bärö i situated on the northern ferry route between Åland (Hummelvik) and Åboland-Finland (Gustavs/Kustavi). Closest harbors to Bärö are Enklinge and Kumlinge.
