Norra Garberg mountain pasture
A very beautiful herd situated 520 meters above sea level! 22 km from Mora.
Already in 1931 the Vasalopps winner Anders Ström founded his shape in the Garbergs terrain! Then Mora-Nisse follows in the 40's!
Here is the IFK MORA ski club's clubhouse - a sports and wilderness cottage with great lodging possibilities!
Ski trails and cabins are kept open by members.

You can also ski from Mora or Eldris up to Norra Garberg. From Eldris it is 13 km to Norra Garberg.

Our hiking trails are very suitable for winter hiking with snowshoes.
Snowmobile trails pass directly adjacent to the cabin and are a popular coffee stop on the snowmobile tour.
Summer
Norra Garberg offers fine walking and hiking trails.
We have two marked trails that start at Garbergstuugan.
• Klacken, 1.2 km. A nice walk to the highest point of the Siljan countryside, 606 meters above sea level, with an outstanding view. You can also go up into the fire tower at the top and enhance the view. There are a resting table suited on the top.
• Mora-Nisserundan, 6 km, you can walk / run the entire Mora-Nisserundan or choose 2 km or 4 km. On the Mora-Nisserundan there are resting-place tables in two places, one at the viewing point after just under 4 km and one at the highest point Klacken 606 m above sea level.
There are also many good trails and paths that are great for mountain biking.
Bathing area is located 12 km from Norrra Garberg in Lake Lädesjön.
Several fine fishing lakes within 15 km.
