The Château de Lusigny
*** Open from June 1 to September 30 ***
The castle is crossed by a monumental staircase classified as a Historic Monument.
Three flats can accommodate small groups (from 1 to 7 people) during the summer months. The rooms are spacious and their windows open onto the park.
For meals, a kitchen is at your disposal. We can recommend many small local producers with whom we cooperate. We can also recommend interesting and committed caterers close to us.
On the site, we make the beer L’Ouche (Nature & Progrès). An educational tour of the brewery is offered to each accommodated group.
To discover the site, two additional proposals for junior and adult: a discovery audio guide for a heritage approach, a booklet and tools for an ecological approach to the very rich and preserved ‘environment’.
For those who want to come and work with us (telecommuting, internships, seminar), we offer two optional rooms: a 35 m² living room where you can enjoy wifi, and the 160 m² barn for activities that require more space.
For those who want to play, some suggestions to discover on the spot.
Well-trained animals are welcome on the ground floor.
Around the castle, there are many walks and bike rides that will allow you to enjoy the beautiful green nature. But we are also close to several remarkable landscapes: l’Auxois and its hedged countryside with its bucolic charm, the Burgundy Canal, the vineyards of Beaune or the Hautes-Côtes, the Morvan and its lakes, etc.
For lovers of heritage and art, Beaune and Dijon are close by, and some pearls can be discovered in nearby villages, we will show you them.
The best season to come here? In the summer, of course! The natural freshness of the thick-walled house is priceless today! And one takes even more pleasure in tasting one of our L’Ouche beers in the castle park!
Travelers will be attracted by:
—the natural side of our place and the surrounding countryside
—The protective feeling of the park, ideal for families with young children;
—the castle and the opportunity to live for a few days in a rare place
—the possibility of coming in a group and finding yourself in a central region
—Proximity to Beaune and its prestigious wines;
—The presence of a micro-brewery of craft beer;
It should be noted that we also live in the castle since we are involved throughout the year in its opening, its economic and cultural development and its daily maintenance.
