Vadstena Klosterhotel

Vadstena Hotels is the hotel where the old is combined with the new. We offer weekend packages and conferences, and wedding and party arrangements in a unique medieval environment in which we can best take advantage of without compromising on comfort and quality. Hotel and Restaurant Munkklostret are housed in some of Sweden's oldest buildings; St. Birgitta convent from the 1300s and Birger Jarl princely palaces from the 1200's and the Royal Hall which dates from 1253rd

Thanks to our various buildings (7) we are able to accommodate many guests' wishes. Authentic monastery environment, modern living, handicap friendly, meeting rooms of various sizes and with different decor. Each guest can find their favorite room with us when all the rooms have their style and atmosphere.
The hotel is close to all the cultural sights, shopping in quaint Vadstena center and swimming at Lake Vättern. Examples of the tourist attractions are Vadstena Abbey Church, Sancta Birgitta Convent Museum, Martens Skinnares house, Hospital Museum, Vadstena Castle, Pilgrim Centre, provincial archives and beautiful surroundings with eg Omberg and Takern.
We offer various packages such as the monastery, Romantik-, Gourmet, Opera, Theatre, Golf & Concert Package. Even conference packages available. Feel-good treatments and other activities can of course choose to desired.

The hotel is run by the family Milton since 1988.
