The Mill of Bel Air (Le Moulin de Bel Air)

"Between Nantes Rennes and Angers, in a Natura 2000 area on the banks of the Erdre River, near the ponds of Vioreau and La Provostière, our gites accommodates 2 to 10 people in the mill of Moulin. For four generations, we have been taking care of this unique place that we adore for its history, for its simple and warm comfort, for its resistance to the trials of time and its solidity. For its fireplaces near which it is nice to land after a walk.
Walking or cycling, water activities are possible around the Mill, on the banks of the Erdre. The associative, collaborative dynamic is powerful in our region and we will give you all the good addresses and the good cultural, gustative, organic, local and exciting tips.
In constant evolution, the Mill shows the good sense of recycling: each stone or piece of wood has a story like the kitchen area made of recycled headboards and many others … local slates and wood. It’s much more than a fashion!
He crosses time and lives with his time: we recently added the phytopurifying pond and filtered water for showers and supply, the heating is aerothermal. We offer sparkling water and filtered flat water and compost to help limit the production of non-recyclable waste and feed on the flowers and small fruits of the garden!
Monthly artistic and cultural events take place at the mill in the multi-purpose hall that can accommodate small family events, workshops and receptions.
The Gîte: 100 m² on the first floor of the Mill
For 2 to 10 people. – ideal for 4/6 people for long stays.
4 possible sleeping spaces: two bedrooms in the flour mill, a small round solo bedroom in the tower and the sofas in the living room:

For 2 to 4/5 people: a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed (small 2 places).

The tower library: round piece in the original mill, ideal for an office, ‘night owls’, early risers and solos: a single bed
The large living room, with parquet flooring and exposed beams, has a fireplace, games and library (4.5 m under the ceiling).
It has 2 beds: The large convertible sofa in 2 single beds or a twin bed.
The large bathroom: Walk-in tiled shower, WC, sink.
A fully equipped kitchen area with tea and coffee making facilities.
Organic cotton linen. On organic cotton mattresses, comfortable French bedding.
Filtered water in showers and for cooking. Local soaps (Nature & Progrès certified) and ecological cleaning products.
