Hotel Astor
Hotel Astor Wasa was for more than 100 years ago the private home of the butter trader Mr Laurell and is today a small and cosy hotel in the middle of the town.
In the hotel there is a small entrance hall, a bar inspired by hunting with a small bar menu and a nice selection of local as well as international beverages.
The sandwich with hand peeled shrimps is the favourite of many guests. Next to the bar there is a cosy library where the guests are welcome to read books, print out tickets or arrange meetings. A full meeting equipment is available.
The standard of this privately-owned hotel is high and all the 49 rooms are individually decorated and they are all different. The Internet broadband is free of charge for the hotel guests. According to the Finnish tradition there is a sauna in many of the hotel rooms (Superior room). The well known breakfast and brunch is served in the Gustavian dining-room. Our breakfast and brunch is mainly based on products from the local area and there is a wonderful scent from our home made bread and pastries.
The peaceful location of the hotel as well as our customer-orientated service is our strength. Warmly welcome and enjoy yourself.
