SIGHTS IN KUMLINGE

St. Anne’s church is situated about 1 kilometre west of Kumlinge By village centre. The medieval church is worth a visit and it is famous for its spectacular murals.

Kumlinge aerial light beacon was built in 1937 to guide the regular flight traffic between Helsinki and Stockholm. In the mid-1700s geographical coordinate measurements were performed on the very same site.

The genuine old-style Kumlinge Pharmacy in Kumlinge By village is the only pharmacy in the archipelago. Here you can sense the history of the past centuries. The Pharmacy is open from Monday to Friday between 9:00 & 15:00 hours.

Apart from these we also recommend you to visit the memorial stone at Fälberg and Hermas Archipelago Homestead Museum. There are also several hiking and nature trails to choose from.
