The Gîte des Algues

The Gîte des Algues for 4 people is located in the heart of the Natural Park of the Morbihan Gulf, 150 m from the sea and 10 minutes from downtown Vannes

The Gîte des Algues, located in an authentic fishing village, allows you to radiate all over the Gulf of Morbihan and around:
By boat, with or without water: low tide twice every 24 hours! Upside down and contrasting landscapes, for all tastes! And the Islands (Île d’Arz, Île aux Moines, Höedic, Belle Île & Groix for the more motivated!) are within sailing distance.
By bicycle, with or without Paulette (or Josette is our neighbour): travel light, smell the wind, let the stopovers come to you, they will be scented with cider – pronounce the word ‘cider’ here – with oysters or gotchial bread…
On foot, with or without a compass: 42 km of trails all lead to the sea and once you are there, a small fishing will make you discover its treasures, with or without boots.
In the car, with or without Simone: to discover the beautiful peninsula of Rhuys, the Small Cities with Great Character: Rochefort-en-Terre, Malestroit, Josselin, Les Megalithes de Carnac, etc.
Running, with or without a stopwatch: night raid in January, Vann’éco Tour in March, Verda Trail in April, Raid du Golfe in June, Auray-Vannes Half Marathon in October, wide choice for runners and superb sites for their supporters!
While bubbling, with or without bubbles: at the bottom of the street, 150 m from the gîte, on the Mousterian Beach or in Port-Anna (2 km away), watch the sun set over the islands, listening to the birds of all kinds, let it rest … and enjoy.
Deposit: €500
Alone or with the family, on your own or accompanied by nature guides, there are several ways to visit the Séné Marshes Nature Reserve. Nevertheless, a few principles should be kept in mind: Take your time and to be silent. This is the best way to observe a maximum of species (fauna and flora). Remember to stay on the trails so as not to damage the natural aspect of the site.
Take the opportunity to discover the riches of the Gulf of Morbihan Natural Park!
