The Eco-gite Entre Mer & Campagne
Our eco-gite Pomme de Paille has been open since July 2020. It has been certified as a 4* Furnished Tourist Accommodation since September 2020. He has also been awarded the Green Key & Fleurs de Soleil label.
For us, going on vacation means going out to meet new landscapes, new people, new cultures, soak up the places, savour the present moment, settle in a country for a few days, time to enjoy the place. It is possible to recharge your batteries while preserving the planet, without a headache, while remaining in pleasure, change of scenery, discovery and authenticity, coming to us!
This cottage is for non-smoking. It has a maximum capacity of 4 travellers (2 bedrooms). Booking is available from 3 nights.
Your actual electricity consumption is to be paid for at the end of your stay. It is calculated using the counting counter. The rate is €0.20/kWh. Just because you’re on holiday doesn’t mean you have to blow up your carbon footprint! Energy is valuable. Moreover, we opted for ecological and recycled materials during our renovation:
—> Blown cellulose wadding in the lost attic
—> Organic fibers of hemp on roof walls and rakes
—> Eco-label depolluting interior paint on all walls
—> Antique furniture found at Emmaüs, hacked, renovated
—> Materials found on the property: slate, flint, wood, bricks, glass tiles
—> Recycled wood to create furniture, tables, stair railings…
Organic products from our garden are available for cooking: aromatic herbs, eggs from our chickens, fresh or dried fruit, depending on production and the season.
We welcome you to our 3.5 hectare property in a warm and family atmosphere and share with you our garden and our private swimming pool.
There are also many fruit trees in the garden which also includes an eco-built chicken coop by us using only recycled materials.
Let’s not forget OBIWAN, the Labrador custodian of the property.
