Cielito Sur Bed and Breakfast

Enjoy country hospitality in our mountain farmstead in Nueva Suiza, centrally located between the towns of Cerro Punta and Volcan in the province of Chiriqui offering easy access to both the Volcan Baru National Park, La Amistad International Park and the Volcan Lagoons. First built in 1948 and expanded in 2000 to its current size, our bed & breakfast inn is part of a small working organic farm producing strawberries, coffee, eggs, vegetables, fruit and flowers.
The family-run country estate is a natural bird sanctuary nestled in the rustic landscape of the Chiriqui highlands where you can see twelve species of hummingbirds that regularly visit our gardens.
Our inn features include a large parlor with a fieldstone fireplace, spacious dining room, a porch overlooking a stream with Rainbow Trout, ample comfortable bedrooms named after Panama's indigenous groups and decorated with their respective handicrafts. Each room has a private bathroom with a bathtub/shower, solar hot water and room heater.
We offer a hearty full country-style breakfast every morning with fresh eggs and freshly roasted Cafe Cielito Sur™ from our farmstead.
