Booking terms for groups
What is a group?
A group consists of at least 10 people.
The service fee is 100 € per group. Amendment fee is 20 € per booking and amendment date after the list of names has been received by us.
Book the entire arrangement with boat, accommodation, meals, special arrangements and guide simultaneously. A written confirmation of everything agreed upon will be sent after the booking has been made. Menu selections for restaurants shall be made no later than 14 days before departure.
List of names
The list of names, along with allocation of rooms, should be received by us no later than 14 days before departure. Lists of names submitted later than 14 days prior to departure will not be guaranteed for free cancellation if the number of participants decreases. Lists of names submitted later than 14 days prior to departure will be considered as amendments. Any menu selection, as well as food and other allergies, must be provided together with the list of names.
Cancellation terms for group travel
A 30 days prior, the entire group free of charge unless otherwise agreed upon.
B 29-14 days prior, 50% cancellation of group free of charge. (If the entire group is canceled, 50% of the tour price will be charged). Does not apply for cottages.
C 13-1 days prior, 5 % cancellation of group free of charge. (If the entire group is canceled, 95 % of the tour price will be charged). Does not apply for cottages.
D Cancellation later than 24 hours prior to departure will be charged 100% of the travel price, except when the passenger has been affected by an acute illness or the death of a close relative. The above shall be supported by a medical certificate.
No show = 100% payable.
Any complaints should be raised directly with the accommodation facility as soon as a possible defect is discovered. If the defect is not rectified immediately then Ålandsresor should be informed immediately. Claims for compensation are to be made to Ålandsresor within 21 days after the end of the rental period and should be put in writing. If the customer and the accommodation facility/ intermediary are not in agreement, the customer may refer the dispute to the Consumer Complaint Board in Finland.
Due to force majeure (disaster, strike, water damage, fire, extreme weather conditions or the like) Ålandsresor may revoke the booking, whereby the customer shall immediately be notified and fees paid will be refunded without any deduction. No additional compensation will be paid.
