Björklidens Stugby

Björkliden's philosophy is to preserve and reuse what already exists. We update both second hand and combined with new. No cabin is the same, both furniture and details differ from each other, which adds charm.

Each cabin has a toilet & shower, mini kitchen (hot plates/stove with oven), fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster as well as crockery, glasses, cutlery etc. for the number of people in the cabin. In the kitchen there is a "starter kit" with dish soap, brush, sponge and cloth as well as bags for organic waste. At Björkliden they encourage their guests to sort their waste and recycle during their stay.

The beds have a mattress, duvet and pillow, some cabins have bunk beds (2-4 pers).

Björkliden rents out boats both with and without engines.
Life jackets are available from 10kg - 90+kg.
Cots/cribs and highchairs are available for rent subject to availability.

Pets are allowed in cabins 11 + 13-17. Pets are not allowed on the beach. Pets should be notified to the host at the time of booking.

There is a "beach house" at the beach area which houses a sauna, a lounge with TV and a small library. Available on the area are also court for badminton or volleyball, a sandbox and swings.

Wireless Wi-Fi is available for free throughout the area.

Björkliden is close to a lot of what Åland has to offer both young and old. Among other things Leklandet, Smartpark, Eckerö golf, game safari, hiking trails and disc golf. In Mariehamn you will also find good museums and an adventure pool.

Marsund offers good fishing waters and the fishing season extends from May-June and August-September. Björkliden has a fish cleaning table under cover and possibilities for guests to freeze the catch. Fishing packages not available v 28-32!

Remember to contact the cottage host and notify time of arrival no later than the day before, and they will meet you on site with the key and some useful information.
